National First Responders Week

First Responders enjoying a free burger.

The first responders in our area are the front line defenders that keeps us all safe and secure but they seldom get the recognition they deserve. SERVPRO Team Rowe was honored to help show our appreciation by hosting lunch time cookouts to first responders in both Huntington and Ashland. We also used the occasion to raise money for the First Responders Children's Foundation, an organization formed shortly after 9-11 to help children who have lost a first responder parent in the line of duty. Lunch was free to all first responders but others could buy a meal with 100% of the proceeds going to the FRCF. Next year we plan to cook up burgers all week at different locations, it's the least we can do for our first responders
